OVERVIEW

Behavioral Healthcare Consulting (BHC) was founded in 1995 by Margaret McCraw, Ph.D., MBA, LCSW-C. BHC is a results-oriented management consulting group that provides Executive Coaching, Organizational Development and Training services. The focus of BHC is to support organizations in becoming more efficient and effective by providing leadership training, coaching, and organizational development such as culture assessments, strategic planning, team building, and quality improvement initiatives.

Our work is focused on strengthening organizational viability by enhancing systems, and building on the strengths of individuals at every level in the work environment. Our consulting is grounded in cognitive and systems theory, which means that we focus on 'reframing' situations and restructuring 'service delivery' to get optimal results. Reframing involves aligning thoughts, beliefs and emotions in the direction of the organization's intentions. Our consulting and coaching helps individuals, departments/groups, and organizations to fulfill their long term vision while accomplishing their day-to-day tasks and objectives.

It is our intention to provide consulting services that are highly valued by employees on all levels of the organization. What differentiates BHC from other consulting groups is the founder's unique blend of psychological, managerial, human relations and business skills integrated into a comprehensive approach toward leadership. Dr. McCraw's background in organizational psychology, holistic healthcare, administration, and business administration, (Ph.D. in Psychology, Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and Masters in Social Work (LCSW-C), along with her hands-on approach, ensures that each project is managed successfully and timely. In addition, BHC is an approved continuing education (CEU) sponsor for psychologists, social workers, counselors and other healthcare professionals.
